Thank you for the mixed grip suggestion on deadlifts. Grip was getting weak on set 3 so I switched to this for sets 4 and 5 (alternating which hand was OH); made a huge difference.

Went off plan Monday on bench and deadlift for Grasshopper W8D1 and did max on bench and deadlift (my 17 year old just finished Arm farm and wanted to max on those to so I couldn't resist)

Hit 200 lbs on bench which coming from where I was 15 months ago is a huge accomplishment for me. Also easily did 265 on deadlift, but stopped there (a little hesitant to push my luck as I have a hitory of LS discopathy). Also did 27 pullups in a single set using good form.

Very grateful to help and support from this board and I'm gonna single out 777 for indulging my ignorance and getting me started first with GSLP then PPSA.

And have to brag on my kid - did 425 on the dead like it was nothing. He is also loving PPSA.

he is a senior - had a good senior football season, but didn't want to move on to the next level - he is blessed with height 6'4" and now weighing around 200 with plenty of room to put on that frame. Also a track athlete - 60m, 200m indoor and 100m 200m outdoor, but not running his senior season.

He is going to do Dr. Jacked...I haven't decided yet. I'm mulling over Filling Out the Hoodie (sounds kinda absurd for a 54 yo, lol) among others.

175lbs

Lunch workout.
20 minute run at the park, made it just over two miles.

25 minute EMOM circuit I found online.

15 pull ups
25 push ups
20 sit ups
20 broad jumps
15 burpees

It started getting pretty spicy at round 4. Finally feeling pretty good again. Need to shed some weight.
