Help KNOE and ProPublica track hate crimes in our area

KNOE is partnering with ProPublica, a non-profit investigative journalism organization, and other news organizations and non-profit groups for a project called Documenting Hate to track hate crimes across Northeast Louisiana.
According to data from the FBI, hate crimes have been on the rise in recent years, seeing a sharp rise in 2016.
The truth is hate crimes are often underreported, and law enforcement says they’re tough to prosecute. Hate crimes typically involve what’s going on inside someone’s head during the commission of a crime, and that can often be difficult to prove.
KNOE is using investigative journalism, social media, and law enforcement data to track and better understand hate crimes in our area.
If you have been a victim of, or a witness to, a hate crime please let us know by using the form below. Please include your contact information so a reporter can follow up with you.
