You have a decent point however it’s a very bad look for the pelicans when their salesman literally call you monthly begging you to buy season tickets.
This all day long. I go to at least 5 to ten games a year. I cant do season tickets because i live in Baton rouge. I have no problem with STH getting tickets first and even at a discounted price. But allowing them to buy extras just so they can flip them screws guys like me who follow and support the team as much as possible.
Its like they are telling me hey Thanks for coming to some games and buying tickets when we call but you dont know any STH so your just screwed and have to pay extra peace out. We will make sure to blow up your phone and email next year

I have three ST. I was offered to purchase a fourth, nowhere close to my ST seats.

nice Gyno.
I love my rep. Had him for 5-6 years now. He’s the tits. Talk hoops with him every time I get him on phone. Get what little tidbits he has. It’s an awesome experience being a STH for this team. They’ve really gone out of the way if you just ask and tell them what’s going on.

My rep hooked me up with 4 courtside seats just for asking. Being a STH has its perks

Don’t worry they will have it figured out in time for the finals

I spend $8k in season tickets. If you don’t think I should be able to buy 4 cheap playoff tickets to sell for a profit then screw u

People who go to how many games? Support the team in what way?
You can split a 12 game package and get early access to playoff tickets and a rep who will bend over backwards to keep you buying for next season. If you go to less than 6 games a year, you are appropriately at the back of the line. Whether it’s because of location, income, work schedule, etc. doesn’t matter.
Didn’t you make fun of somebody for buying tickets to “meaningless” mid-week games?

I understand the hesitancy to buy season tickets.
That said, I went to about half of the games, and sold the other half. It takes me about 3 minutes per game to PDF my tickets and throw them on StubHub. I made about 95% of my money back on tickets this season. If I had sold more games, I would have come out ahead. In a "bad" season, that comes out to no worse than 50%.
I look at my season tickets as an investment in the civic enterprise of having an NBA team nearby. I want to incentivize that, and paying for season tickets is the best way I know how. The fact that I get to do some fun things, feel really engaged with the team, and yes, be at the front of the line for playoff tickets - I see as a return on my investment, and as an appropriate return on investment.

Medtiger, did they ever lift the delay on the tickets you bought Monday?
Posted on 4/26/18 at 9:16 am to GeauxLSU_10
It’s still there for me.

Not yet. I'll probably call again this afternoon and try to find out what's up.

As an aside...do you have more success on stubhub than on the ticketmaster resale site? Now that they're moving to seatgeek, do you know if you'll still be able to use stubhub?

Thanks. I had bought a pair Monday and mine is delayed as well, but used the 1time code they sent yesterday and bought all 3 games thinking the first pair would drop off.
My rep said if they were still not cancelled as of yesterday morning, that they would likely be fine.
