Two sentences is par for the response.
Name the course you played.
Describe the course condition with regards to greens, fairways, tees, and/or rough.
TIA

Nitro scramble at Augusta on the Bayou, was -8 through 8 then the vodka kicked in, no idea where we finished, was a lot of nitro and the flat stick was hot as long as I could stand up, LaTour tomorrow.

I played Muni in Lafayette, and the greens on the front are trash. Everything else is ok.

Cottonwood Creek in Waco. Scramble in the early morning. Greens very good and pretty quick. Fairways were pretty firm. U Club Monday.

Dropped a 78 at Money Hill today
I’d say greens were rolling at about 11-12 today
Fairways were great

Played The Bridges on Friday. Greens were shitty, tee boxes were chewed up and not level, fairways were OK.

Friday Eagle Pointe in Mont Belvieu, TX
Greens were a little beat up but soft and over seeded. Everything else was great.
Saturday Timber Creek in Friendswood, TX
First two greens had me worried but after those it was in great shape. Really fun track.
Playing Bay Forest tomorrow after work.

Played a Pete Dye design in the Chicago burbs called Ruffled Feathers. Right down the street from Cog Hill.
Tees and fairways were plush - we've had a wet and cold spring and it makes for a beautiful piece of bentgrass turf - but the greens are still dormant and were plugged two weeks ago. Rough is still dormant as well.
I was just too inconsistent. Today was the first day of the year that was really anywhere close to being playable golf weather here. I managed to get on a lovely old track called Flossmoor (hosted both the 1920 PGA championship and the 1923 US Am) a few weeks ago, but the course was barely set up for the season, and no one was out, so today was my first real round and second sort of round of the year. Started 1 over through 4 but then just had first-round-of-the-year inconsistencies. Triple, par, double, par, bogey, triple, birdie, etc., etc.
Ruffled Feathers is definitely not the place to play your first round of the year. Water everywhere, classic Dye design that just fricks with your eye, lots of small bunkers, excruciatingly difficult 9th and 18th holes, driveable par 4's followed up with brutal par 4's and not much in between, railroad ties, twists and turns, and so forth. In fact, 18 at Ruffled Feathers actually resembles 18 at Sawgrass a pretty good bit. 15, 16, 17, and 18 were probably some of the coolest holes I've played in the Chicago area.
Loved the course and would definitely play it again, just not in my first real round of the year.

Played Copper Mill after the storm rolled through yesterday. They are punching the greens today.
The wind started picking up after 3 and it got VERY windy. Cart path only, and the course felt like it was 7500 yards with all but the first 2 par 5s into the wind.
Couldn't hit a green to save my life.
Overall miserable conditions for golf but still had a good time.

71 at Pecan Hollow in Plano. First even par round of the year. Course was in great shape. Those are some of the best greens in North Texas.

4/19 Gray Plantation: Greens were decent but not great, a little bumpy. Fairways were good for the most part.
4/20 Contraband Bayou: Greens were sandy, bumpy, discolored and had patches of poa annua — pretty bad. Fairways were good.
4/21 Golden Nugget: Greens were in very good condition, fairways were in good condition.
4/22 Calvert Crossing: Greens were excellent even after a heavy rain, fairways were sloppy due to the rain and the need for a little more grass in areas.

Low areas in the fairways were pretty wet after all the rain Saturday night
Some Bunkers had standing water
It was WINDY AS HELL!!
Scratched out an 83

5/6: Money Hill
Greens were pretty good for the most part, although you could see where they resodded portions on 5-6 holes. Fairways were really good, tees on Par 3's were chewed up.
10/14 non-par 3 holes still turn right to left. Ron Garl must've been a draw player.
