-They love to tell you how well-round he is. That he makes everybody around him “better”.

-They love to throw out and hide behind his stats

But every time he loses in the NBA finals, what happens? We get

“Lebron has no help around him”. Then Lebron fans throw out his stats again.

If Lebron makes everyone around him much better, why does his team lose so many finals? Didn’t Jordan make his teammates better? If MJ didn’t make his teammates better, how did he win all those titles?

Lebron got owned by Dirk Norwitzki, averaging 17 pts (8 pts In game 4..lol) in the finals that year. Jordan never score less than 22 pts in any finals game. Does MJ look like someone who would get owned by Dirk Norwitzki?

I can’t imagine someone caring about Lebron as much as some people do.

Good lord

Look at the teams LeBron lost to genius and the context of some of those Finals, excluding the Mavs series since he obviously choked bigly in the 4th, 2015 he loses K-Love and Kyrie after going up 2-1 against a 67-win Warriors team, 2017 he plays against arguably the greatest single-season team of this generation who possess Kevin Durant, look at all the HOFers on that Spurs team and HOF coach not to mention LeBron’s teammates crapped the bed that series while he was his usual sterling self. A lot of these teams LeBron lost to were simply better teams or more stacked than his team was, he still played great and we should recognize him accordingly.

I think LeBron beating GSW in 2016 buys him a ton of leeway in any argument.

Imagine thinking titles/losses in the finals are the only things that matter when evaluating and comparing players

Posts like OP’s are basically neon flashing signs that say “ignore this person’s opinions about sports”

The messed up thing is that in the minds of some people, LeBron's legacy would be better off if his teams just never made those finals that he lost.

Anyone defending Lebron should be hunted.

If LeBron doesn’t make players around him better why’d he make so many finals? Why didn’t those teams/players make it before or after him?

You’re suggesting have lost earlier in the playoffs and not making 7 straight finals is more impressive?

I swear people who hate LeBron care more about him than his fans

I think it’s safe to say he could have a better legacy with less finals appearances yes. If there was a worthy opponent rival in the east that he had beaten to get to the finals more times than not but also lost a series to that team and had one less finals appearance. Better overall look for him. The weakness of the east hurts Lebron badly. And then once he gets out the east he takes Ls.

Hurts what?

He is what he is at the game of basketball.

Stop being a casual fan. Storylines are fun. But the players are what they are. It doesn't matter what anything "looks" like.

You get more credit for beating great teams than for beating trash teams.

I love when LBJ loses. There is 5 or more topics on this board.
When he went off for 46 the other night.
There was ZERO mentions of his game. ....
