And we're importing these values and cultures into civilised countries by the millions each year.

I watched a Vice documentary on illegal oil refining in Nigeria. When the authorities find illegally processed fuel, they cut open the barrels and dump it in the rivers. It's completely insane.

Proof that we need more taxation for the EPA to be able to combat the global warming caused by shithole countries.

Six of the ten run through China. Why am I not shocked?

It’s a group effort. We have done a magnificent job of polluting our on creeks rivers and bays. Swim at the wrong time in the Mobile Bay and you wake up the next day with a limb amputated.

Uh you do realize Vibrio is a naturally occurring bacteria in warm salt water that would be present regardless of whether humans dumped trash in the water or not right?

I spent a month (each) in india, indonesia, vietnam, and thailand. I don't believe I saw a trash can outside of the trash can in western bathrooms for TP. People just threw stuff on the ground, if they no longer needed it.

I think most of everyone can get behind the idea of cleaning up the environment and protecting it from pollution of all types.
The problem is these things become politicized, like the Paris Accord, global warming, climate change, etc and it pits sides against each other.
One of the biggest misconceptions that the Left has is that nobody else wants to protect the environment, and more extreme that the right wants to willingly destroy it.
The only people I've ever seen who have complete disregard for the environment are trashy (no pun intended) poor people, which there are plenty of in LA.
There needs to be a better approach to cleaning the environment, and IMO neither side is doing a good job of proposing anything worthwhile.

We should cut off aid to Africa until they clean up their act.

So sad that real environmental problems like these get ignored due to hoaxes like CO2 warming.

I have seen it in south america, but South Asia was by far the worst. There would just be lots that were just garbage.
India was the absolute worst. It was disgusting.
