I thought offense looked fine vs Alabama last year.

Not Os fault WRs drop clutch passes or qb miss fires on a couple throws.

Both of which certainly could've changed outcome of the game.
At the very least would have huge impact.
Be honest you'll agree.

the 4th year you will see playoff caliber play

The guy has playoff caliber talent now. 4th year is absolutely ludicrous.

once 0 is finally able to get his vision installed

His vision? He hired an OC last year that didn't run the kind of offense he wants to run. Let that sink when thinking about his vision.

None of Miles' recruited players amounted to anything to help out this team.

Just a silly statement. All of the players in the '17 class were originally recruited by Miles.

Alleva better get to working on 0's 8 yr extension with guaranteed 75m payout or some other rebuilding team is going to snatch him up

Oh my. Please tell me this a terrible troll attempt. NO one, not ONE school wanted to hire Orgeron and not ONE will come after him any time soon.

It’s not like he said this the week before the Miami game. He said it during spring after changing OCs.

Not really a “I hate O” thread.

It’s more of a “this coach has no direction/plan” thread. Dude has no confidence. It’s not good when a coach starts putting out ready made excuses before the season.

It might easily be the most active post.

Hes just blowing smoke, but in all honesty he needs to just shut up and work. Stop worrying about the outside. Because if this season goes bad, he cant just go in front of his boss and say some asinine comment like, be patient we only got 35% of what we wanted to run in this season.

Well Steve wasn’t the OC last year

And when he was he scored 0 points and had 125 yards.

He fired the OC that looked decent vs bama last year.

Good thing O fired that coordinator for no reason other than his own overly-inflated ego

dont think he's worried about the "system" too much at all. Having a qb he can depend on to execute is prob the thoughts he spends most of his time focusing on.

So dumb.

I didn’t watch the presser when he made this statement. Is there any way to interpret what he said as meaning they will only “show” 35% of the offense in the spring game?

I know players practice in the summer “unsupervised”. How much more can be implemented in the fall? I mean you’d have to make sure you still know the first 35% you learned from spring.

so now offensive execution isnt on the HC? fricking hypocrite. youll make every excuse to continue to prop up this unqualified position coach that did nothing but bash LSU for the previous 31 years of his coaching career.

35% is > than his SEC W/L record. 13 wins in 38 games.

Some offenses are easy to run for the QB.

Has it ever occurred to you that Less talented QBs put up big numbers all over the country in offensss that all you need is an arm?

Baylor had the #6 offense in the country in 2016. Can you tell me who their QB was off the top of your head? Or what he’s doing now?

spring game will be a complete waste of time as to not unveil anything SEC opponents could use against us but nothing to worry about - they are running the real offense behind closed doors where Brennan is the next Aaron Rodgers.

I mean, what the frick do you want them to do? How would YOU handle the spring game?

I’m pretty sure that I read where Mississippi States new coach has stated that he already has 100 % of their offense installed. If that’s true then how much more complex is Ensmingers offense?

Well with a team this young, you can't expect much else. I think the 4th year you will see playoff caliber play once 0 is finally able to get his vision installed. It's not 0's fault he has to basically play High School Seniors. Blame Les Miles. None of Miles' recruited players amounted to anything to help out this team. It's going to be hard for Steve E. also because he lost his tight end/qb coach, so don't expect much in that area. But he's doing all he can to work around that hole.

That may be the most excuses per word in the history of any post on TigerDroppings.

I'm honestly in awe...
