If Cousins wouldn’t have got hurt Davis and Cousins would be 1st team. He needs to quit his bitching.

He has some weird thing about putting a pure point on the first team. So Jrue wasn’t eligible (in his mind) for that spot. For some reason he has no issue using two combo guards on the 2nd team.

Yea, that was stupid. It's not like Jrue is a pure shooting guard either. He's 16th in the league in assists ffs.
ETA: I could understand if he said he couldn't put two Pelican players on the 1st team all defense because their team defense wasn't good enough to justify that, but his excuse was pretty lame.

Is Jrue good at defense? I've watched only a few Pelicans games, a couple of them in person, and last time we played you guys, Dame dropped 41. Jrue is awesome on offense though. He had a triple double that game. I will give you the first matchup of the season. Dame shot terribly but I'm not convinced that was because of Jrue. We'll see how he plays in the playoffs. If the Pelicans beat us in the series, I'll big your team's biggest fan.

Love Zach Lowe but Paul over Jrue is a crime for 1st-team all defense considering Jrue's ability to guard positions 1-3 and Paul missing so many games

The blazers are one of the best in the NBA at scoring off picks. We usually switch everything, and teams know this, so they will always get jrue away from the offensive sets if they can.
