This will be the generation breakouts used in future social science research.

The Silent Generation: Born 1928-1945 (73-90 years old)
Baby Boomers: Born 1946-1964 (54-72 years old)
Generation X: Born 1965-1980 (38-53 years old)
Millennials: Born 1981-1996 (22-37 years old)
Post-Millennials: Born 1997-Present (0-21 years old)

Gen X checking in to be here for advice and counsel. We are your fathers when you can't talk to your own estranged pop.

Sorry, but a 54 year old is not a baby boomer.

In my mind, a Millenial is a person who can't remember the internet not existing. Which conflicts with this. I'd put the year at 1990, not 1981.

Those born in 1981 are considered millennials? I was born in 1981 and always thought I was near the end of Gen X.

If Sony Walkmans or Diskmans were popular when you were in HS, you should be part of Generation X.

These years need to be split even further into two separate generations or have the early to mid 80's included in Gen X.

I was born in 1985 and I couldn't be more different than the people born after 1990.

No one born in the 60s is a baby boomer. The whole term comes from how people came home after WWII and started fricking like rabbits and having kids.

No one was having kids with that mindset by the 60s.

Makes no sense. 37 year old has absolutely nothing in common with a 22 year old. Came to age in two completely different realities.
