Thank God I saw this festival in New Orleans back in the 90's. Geez look at this years lineup in Chicago. Awful.

I remember when Lollapalloza was an alt rock festival. Shame they couldn't even get Smashing Pumpkins this year.

i seen Lollapallooza in 96 at uno fairgrounds, the major acts were sponge, rage, soundgarden & Metallica, you couldn't pay me to go to this one with this line up

That’s actually a stacked lineup with Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, Bruno Mars, Greya Van Fleet, etc

i seen Lollapallooza in 96 at uno fairgrounds, the major acts were sponge, rage, soundgarden & Metallica
I was supposed to go to that one but plans fell through that Friday...I was so pissed. I wanted to see Rage
I did however see the one a year or two prior with the Peppers, Ministry, Ice Cube, Jesus and Mary chain...it was fricking awesome

Stacked? I know it’s not meant to be the same but I saw the first three Lollapaloozas in Orlando and the crap that passes as Lollapalooza these days is garbage compared to those days.

Actually ‘92. Time flies eh? Awesome lineup. Also included a young Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Soundgarden was fantastic. Hard for me to pick which one I liked more between ‘92 and ‘91. Might actually be ‘92.
‘92 was great also because it was overcast and rainy. Field of mud. Moshing in the mud to Ministry was pretty epic.
ETA: DAMN!! Coming up on 30 years since then. Time indeed does fly.
