So tonight our sons team plays their biggest rival. We were down and then we come back to tie in the 4th...would have ended due to time otherwise. We play another inning, they go up 2 runs...we go up to bat and some mother from the other team comes up next to our dugout and shes shaking dice and staring down our coach. We are like wow look at this weirdo...we tie it up and have base runners on 2nd and 3rd w 2 outs...she actually dropped them, we laugh at her, she marches off, and we win the game on a wild pitch.

What is it with crazy people?

Parents who live their lives vicariously through their children’s athletic endeavors are losers who have nothing to offer to this world

Maybe you should have asked her considering you were there in person instead of internet strangers

Having a son in high level baseball is a window into the irrational expectations of some parents.. This isn’t exclusive to any demographic by the way.. there’s a good reason why I choose to sit away with a small group and drank beer if sold and chill. My son wants to play with and against the best but damn its ridiculous what one has to put up with at times..

You are part of the problem. It’s little league. There are no rivals.

All little league games end on a wild pitch or passed ball.

I used to umpire little league when i was in high school and then in college. Most of the parents weren't too bad. You might catch a snide comment every now an then but nothing crazy. The coaches were the fricking worst. Several were family friends that i still wouldn't piss on if they were on fire due to how they would act. Just miserable, pathetic people.

Is shaking dice supposed to mean something, or did she just have Parkinson's?
