Me. Since I get up at 2:30 a.m. I have to go to bed around 6 p.m. I like it to be dark when I go to bed.

and a spokesperson for Florida’s education department attributed six of those deaths directly to children going to school in darkness.

because the educators were too retarded to adjust the start time for schools?

Just means the neighbors are outside longer making noise, I'd rather they go inside and shut the frick up. Plus tv watching is better in the dark and I hate having to wait for the sun to go down.

Agree ... I like more daylight in the evening hours. The more, the better.

Move to Alaska during the summer

With everything moving up it's going to be 8pm before the sun sets tomorrow.

Then closer to may and June it doesnt set but for a few hours.

You can't save time there's still 24 hours in a day

It’s not meant to save time. It’s meant to “save” daylight. Standard time is fine, until winter comes around and the sunlit day get shorter. Then you run out of daylight before the end of the workday. We should stay on DST in my opinion.

Me. It should NEVER, under any circumstances be daylight at almost 9 pm like it is the westernmost parts of EDT.

I think they should just split it in the middle by jumping forward 30 minutes and never change it again. If I ever run for POTUS that would be my #1 promise to stop this madness by adding 30 minutes and never having to add or subtract an hour ever again.

Now that would really screw up my GMT watch.

Are you kidding?

I love when it’s light until 9. Way more time to get stuff done. More time for outdoor adventures. It improves my mood as well.

The historical and political context behind Spain not using its “natural” time zone and the corresponding theory that this explains why they do everything late is also pretty fascinating.

You realize that all but one of those hours of daylight occurs naturally right?

My God it was so aweful waking up an hour earlier in the dark this morning! I'm already at work when I should just be leaving my home now.
