He had 16 TDs in 2011 on likely one of the top 5 offenses ever in the league.

2011 Jimmy was a beast. Later on, he became soft, alligator armed balls in traffic, and wanted to be relabeled a WR.

Byrd had 9 picks as a rookie in Buffalo, did that make him good when he played for us?

Players sometimes change from year to year and it’s not always a positive change.

The only way I am ok with bringing in Graham is if we still draft one of the stud TEs in the 3rd.

He was nowhere the threat in Seattle as in NO

Still lead all TEs in TDs last year with 10. He's still very much a threat especially in the red zone where we could desperately use help

I'd say it wasn't a great fit for him there, with seattle's OL woes that offense is basically Wilson scrambling around and making a play.

he's obviously not prime jimmy anymore but still an upper tier TE

I would love to have Jimmy back but I don’t want to pay over 10 million for him.

Not sure any TE has gotten $10 million a year since Graham. Overall, TE contracts seem to have come down a bit. Would guess he commands $7-$8 million a year at most.

It's possible the Saints could consider releasing Fleener this year -- especially if they invest heavily in another free agent or draft pick. Although they have already guaranteed $3.4, they could still save $3 million by releasing him.

If we can somehow keep both that'd be pretty awesome unless the money is too tight. Only having to pay Fleener another 3 mil isn't bad to keep him but that also depends on Hooman and Hills status.

Jimmy 2014?

I'd gladly take 85 catches for 889 yards and 10 TDs from the TE positon.

Definitely don't give him more than 5 or 6 mil
If he will take the 1 year with 2nd only partial guaranteed you probably have to do it unless the bucs don't tender Cameron brate high.
Nobody knows what the bucs will do they did just draft Howard 19 overall.
I'd rather brate and he will cost less

They are going to use the 2nd round tender on Brate. They have the cap space and aren't going to risk losing him for nothing.

If anything they are going to at least go that route and field trades for him even if they don't want to keep him, but I have a feeling they do.

No! No! No! A locker room cancer - No!

Draft the kid From South Dakota State - at lot cheaper.

Will make everyone forget JG very quickly.

Getting Jimmy back and grabbing another WR could make our offense boarderline unstoppable.

Which is why I hope he’s not too expensive. He won’t be cheap.

He's still a bitch who can't block and signifies to a defense when he comes in you're guaranteed to pass. If he wants to come here at a bargain I'll take it. If he thinks he's still worth 8 million+ he can frick off.

The Saints and Jimmy Graham have been seriously discussing a reunion, but talks have stalled over the last several hours per sources. Both sides still hoping to reach agreement. Other teams including the Packers are in the hunt
