Gun owners, what guns do you have for self defense?

Curious and just looking for recommendations. My wife and I just have my dad's old S&W Model 10.

I use an AR15. It is objectively better than a handgun or shotgun for self defense.

Volcano got them, but I used to have quite the range of options.

Before my terrible boating accident where I lost all my guns, I used an 870 and the judge for home defense.

Honestly it depends on a variety of factors and your personal comfort levels. I would highly recommend you and your wife take an NRA safety course, and maybe some of the higher level defense courses to gain better understanding, knowledge, and capabilities. NRA Firearms Training

It is a good way to become more responsible gun owners and it is a fun thing for you two to do together (at least in my experience).

Before my terrible winter time accident in my jon boat crossing Lake Dardanelle, 870 Super Mag Improved Cylinder 18” and USP-40.

Now, a war hammer or my wife’s vibrator.
