So sorry to see this. Really tough situation. I will pray for this family for strength and for the peace of God that passes understanding.

I knew Molly. She was the sweetest soul one could be around. Such a great person and joy in life. shite news and such a sad outcome to a great person. fricking hate it.

Prayers to her family and God bless her soul.

I’m kind of speechless after that read. Leaves a lump in the throat.

Prayers sent.

Same. I was just rocking my 2 year old to sleep while reading that and nearly got sick to my stomach.

Also heard she had a brother that committed suicide years ago.

Rough sledding for that family.

I’ve known the family since childhood.

Wonderful people and prayers are really needed.

Stuff can happen so damn fast. My wife gave birth to our daughter (2nd child) back in August and she (daughter) was in NICU for 24 days. Wife was on way to work and felt “off.” She stopped by her OB’s office, which is in the hospital, and immediately admitted her and induced
3.5 weeks early. Her BP was 186/110.

It was scary as hell and feel very fortunate my wife and daughter are home and have no issues.

So tragic. She had an amniotic aneurysm. Gave birth, short of breath, rushed to ICU 45 minutes, passed away some 15 or so hours later. I’m told it’s a 1 in 80,000 occurrence. Excruciatingly traumatic. Lots of prayers needed to keep going. The good news is the baby is very healthy and she was able to hold him.

Is that AFE? Her husband had some #endAFE posts. I’ve had a friend lose his wife and baby to AFE. Amniotic fluid embolism is basically having an allergic-like reaction to amniotic fluid entering the mom’s blood stream.

I'm not a praying person but my thoughts have been with this family and the staff at Woman's. I delivered a healthy baby baby boy the day after this occured and it didn't even cross my mind that I may not make it out of the birthing process. Very sad reminder that life isn't a guarantee.

Know some of the family. It's terrible. I lost my son at birth. I can't imagine going through that and losing my wife and the mother.

Yes.

Horrible! I was told it was very rare, but I haven't researched it.
