The frick are you to speak on gods intentions?

If god is infallible, then 2/3s of jews died so israel could exist. That was his plan. To question itherwise is to question god. Get some faith, pussy.

I have faith that anything God chooses to do is just.

Hell no.

So much of the world today was shaped by the events of wwii

There is no guarantee you would ever be born. There is no gurantee something worse would not have happened.

You gurantee a different world than you left it. You risk the lives of many millions of people that exist today by doing that who may not exist tomorrow if you succeed. It would be morally wrong to attempt it.

His paintings were fairly decent.

Questions like this one always makes me think of the Butterfly Effect.

I would go back and kill Hitler in order to save 4 million lives and pray that the effect of killing Hitler doesn't create a worst scenario in the future.

Here we go, don't even really have to kill Hitler but stop the intercourse that leads to him. Moral high ground.

This is more likely the correct answer.

Yep. Shoot him just before he attempts to shoot the archduke.

But WW1 might still happen at some point and cause Hitler to rise to power. Maybe kill Hitler at the Beer Hall Putsch.

When he was a baby, He fell into the river at Passau, Germany but he was pulled out. It would have changed history.

The correct statement is "Thou shalt not murder."

You are allowed to kill someone in self defense.

Nope. What’s done is done and killing a baby just because I “know” what that baby will do decades later just not justify the act of murdering an innocent baby.

That and it would almost certainly doom everything and everyone that exists as it does today to an unknown future.

Really think about what I just said. Removing someone as impactful as Hitlwr, the Nazis, and WWII.

The world would be as different today as 1942 was from 0942. Good or Bad or a million shades of gray in between.

He’s a more central figure in history than people realize. Without his actions, there’s also no catalyst for revolution in Russia. Which isn’t to say it wouldn’t have eventually happened, but it would’ve been much later.

Amazing when you realize that one little anarchist really is a focal point in the shape of the world today.

I agree with this by the way.

So if you could get into a time machine and kill baby Hitler, would you?
Well if I could go back in time, I would first consult a leading theoretical physicists regarding the the possible implications of altering history, but if it was up to me nerdy self I would use it as a scientific experiment.

What would happen if he died? Would happen if he was given to a different parent or in a different country or raised by a Jewish family? What would happen if I took him to a more prosperous time? What would happen if I brought a therapist to counsel him? What would happen if I brought some teachers to show him the value of free-market economics, liberty, and peace? What if I showed him the inevitable outcome of his actions if he chose the path he was bound for?

Could he have led a revolution that led his nation to prosperity and innovation? Or would he still resemble the person he became? Or would someone else have taken his place with a similar outcome in the end?

It would also be fun to set up an Inglorious Basterds scenario.

I wouldn't kill him, but I would do terrible things to him like sell him a time-share, and introduce him to my in-laws.
