Would it be morally justified, if you could go back in time and kill baby Hitler?

I've heard people say how dropping the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was justified, because it ended a war that would have costed a multitude of more lives if extended.
So if you could get into a time machine and kill baby Hitler, would you?

I would seriously consider it. But I try to leave that kind of thing to God.

If one believes in objective morality, and believe that murder is objectively evil, then it is never ok regardless of consequence.

If one believes morality is relative with no ultimate arbiter of good/evil, then it's all relative to the individual doing the killing's perspective. Because I think the majority of humanity would agree we'd be better off without Hitler having ever come to adulthood, it would be pretty easy to justify it.

Of course the world would we so radically different without WWII that you'd be playing with fire.

Since it's vitally important to your belief system, consider Hitler's actions are the reason Israel exists today. Without Hitler, there is no re-establishment.

It's a false question.

Because You would also kill millions of Europeans through starvation before Hitler.

The post-war plan was to starve Germany to death after WWI by the Americans and mostly British.

If one word could describe Germany during the immediate aftermath of World War I, it would be "starvation." And yet, while some 900,000 German men, women and children were starving to death, the American and British public knew nothing about the reason for this holocaust, deliberately caused by the continuation of a wartime British naval blockade.Even today, only a few non-Germans know the truth, and American and British historians, for the most part, have participated in the coverup of this most appalling crime.

The guilt of the world press in covering up the atrocity is compounded by the fact that the American and British public were told of the starvation itself, but were kept ignorant of the criminal policies of the Allies which produced it.

Hitler reversed this and saved millions of Germans in the 1930's from starvation and death at the hand of the Allies.

He then ended up condemning those to death in war years later...but Germany was on the brink of total disaster after WWI.

So ironically Hitler saved millions of Europeans and then condemned millions of Europeans to death.

It's not false. I didn't ask about the future repercussions of such an act. I just asked if you personally would do it?

Sure.
Why not.

The anti semites of the country would probably not like that many joos hanging around controlling the media and what not, but then there would be no israel for america to dote upon, so i guess it would be a wash.

Well - silly revelator - Adult hitler is clearly still alive today. Why not just kill adult hitler to serve justice? Who even needs a time machine in this hypothetical?

Tool.

Becsue it was God's will for Israel to once again be established as a country, it would have happened regardless.

Was it also God's will to kill two thirds of them in order to get the holy land?

God could have certainly accomplished the task of returning Jews to Israel without the Holocaust.
