It seems the left definition of high capacity mags ranges from 5 to 10 round carrying capacity.

If that is the case, what are the best, most honest, and least emotional, defenses of the right to continue to purchase, sale or own mags of a greater capacity than 5 or 10?

What would the legal arguments be to defeat hypothetical legislation that limits mag capacity?

The 2nd amendment was written within the context of the typical citizen being able to own and carry arms in defense of their life and liberty, specifically against the possibility of a tyrannical government that would seek to remove one or both from the citizenry. "High capacity magazines" allow an every day citizen a chance to fight back against tyranny if the need ever arises.

What good would it do? We’re protected in our right to keep and bear arms. The burden of providing a compelling argument is on you. Not me.

What are your best, honest, least emotional arguments for limiting mag size?

Great low-information graphic.

We've already seen evidence in the last 100 years of what totalitarian governments have done to their unarmed people when they want to control every aspect of their lives (even its existence). Millions dead and liberty lost.

Also, you know why no tyrants have been overthrown in the U.S.? Because none have come to power precisely because of our constitution and the ability of our people to keep and bear arms.

The Constitution says to frick off....end of argument.

Cigarettes will kill close to 500,000 Americans annually. Should we ban cigarettes? Maybe we should only allow a pack to contain 2 cigarettes at a time.

The only emotional argument is the argument to restrict.

The best, most honest argument for is simple personal liberty.

couldn't one argue that banning fully automatic and bazookas is a type of infringement that is allowed. Serious question. Not trolling.
