Went through the bottom vent to heat it and at 300 degree still welded.

I’ll swim through the smart arse comments for some good advice.

I've seen Big Green Egg lids sealed tighter in the quad on a Wednesday.

InB4 people who claim to make $200,000 a year act like $900 is a lot of money for a grill.

"My $150 Weber works just as good, if not better!"

Loosen the strap that holds the lid to the hinge. Grab the handle and give it a yank taking great care not to damage the hinge.

Good luck.

Gasket is melted. Gonna have to get a flat blade screwdriver or something and work it loose. Then scrape the whole thing off and replace it. The replacement ones have higher heat tolerance so you likely won’t melt it again.

Good advice? Don't spend $1000 on a grill and if you do, keep your Yeti away from it when it's hot.
