re: Low Back Pain - Degenerative Disc Disease - Checking In - jtayl71
I have heard that the disc replacements are much better in the neck than in the lumbar due to the fact that the lumbar discs have so much more range of motion and bear so much more weight. But I think they are finally starting to catch up with that technology. ...

JBM, Sorry i've never responded on the inversion table. I could only use it for about 5 minutes max and the blood rushing to my head was just too much to take. I found I could last longer on it in the morning than the evening. I had a huge pop on it one night, scared me to death. How is every...

The ligament that holds all the vertebrae together which runs down the spinal canal on the opposite side of the spinal cord from the disc. The ligament is called ligamentum flavum and hypertrophy is when a ligament starts to thicken due to over stress or breaking down. So I showed signs of that liga...

I'm glad youre starting to get some relief! Turns out the discs in my neck are fine, but I actually have bone spurs growing which are closing in on the nerve roots in the C3-C4 and C4-C5 area. My PT says that they usually do not see this in people until way later in life he was kind of surprised. He...

I can’t sit for long either, my lower back gets uncomfortable and I can’t find a way to sit to get rid of it. I have to get up and start moving around. Luckily my pain isn’t unbearable or even bad, more of a nuisance. My lower back just feels odd all the time and I get tingling in my ass/legs. I jus...
