re: Low Back Pain - Degenerative Disc Disease - jtayl71
Is there anyone else who doesn't have much pain, but has muscle spasms and just tingling/sensation changes? I have tingling and weird sensation changes in both legs and my groin sometimes and muscle spams in the same areas, but very little pain. ...

re: Low Back Pain - Degenerative Disc Disease - jtayl71
I can’t sit for long either, my lower back gets uncomfortable and I can’t find a way to sit to get rid of it. I have to get up and start moving around. Luckily my pain isn’t unbearable or even bad, more of a nuisance. My lower back just feels odd all the time and I get tingling in my ass/legs. I jus...

re: Low Back Pain - Degenerative Disc Disease - jtayl71
If your x-ray showed mild disc height instead of normal then something MAY be causing the disc between the vertebrae to compress/flatten out. Whether that is due to herniation, bulging, overall degeneration only the MRI can say. Keep us posted. ...

re: Low Back Pain - Degenerative Disc Disease - jtayl71
X-rays only depict bones, MRI’s are better st depicting soft tissues such as the discs themselves, a doctor can estimate of your disc is herniate or bulging by an x-ray but the MRI shows exactly to what extent. ...

re: Low Back Pain - Degenerative Disc Disease - jtayl71
Just curious when some of you were diagnosed with DDD was your disc bulging or herniated any at that time? or did it just show a generally drying out? My L5-S1 report read L5-S1 degenerative disc disease with mild dessication and small broad based central disc protrusion, and foraminal stenosis. ...
