Everybody was saying how tough the '17 schedule was preseason, five SEC road games.

Great post OP. But if anyone still has doubts about next season, take a look at the L's under O as well.

2016. Bama 14-1, Flordida 9-4

2017. Ms. ST. 9-4, Troy 11-2, Bama 13-1, ND 10-3

What does that tell us? Ed O coached teams can't beat anybody with a winning record.

They can't win those games it takes to go to say, the sugar bowl.

LSU is 3-6 against teams with 8 or more wins since ed took over. You could even argue each of those 3 wins don't look good. Auburn laid an egg, aTm gets beat no matter what, and louisiville had lost their last 2 before getting skull drug.

This doesn't bode well for 2018 and the brutal schedule coming up.

That's the point people are trying to make against O.

I think 2018 is gonna get O out of here.

Bama and georgia are L's.

Dan mullen beat lsu with ms. st. So that'll be an L for flordia.

Lsu plays at auburn. maybe a toss up. but prob an L.

4 so far.

If miami is anywhere near what they were in 2017. L.

5 now.

Arky, aTm, ms. st. all have new coaches. If one can get Lsu then that's 6.

Prepare thy anus boys.

But hopefully that's enough to end this nightmare once and for all.

Yeah, I think Orgeron was a terrible hire. I think he's just simply too dumb to be a head coach, can't control his emotions, will ever win any championships, and will be fired after the 2019 season, but he can only play the schedule he's given.

People hold Bill Arnsparger up as a legendary coach, and the guy generally beat bad teams during his tenure and sucked in bowl games. Orgeron will be fired soon enough, but it's not his fault he's played bad teams. Arnsparger made a living on them.

You should list his losses as well. I bet that AT LEAST half of his losses are actually good losses! You just have to squint the the right way while looking at them

Gotta love all of Derek's alters. Herman wouldn't have a spot for unrepentant felons on the payroll.

our defense happened to Louisville.

That was a nice win, but Louisville absolutely collapsed at the end of the 16 season. They got blown out by a 9-4 Houston team. Got beat by a 7-6 Kentucky team and then lost the bowl game to LSU.

Our last two coaches never lost to them at home, now it's some fricking accomplishment to even beat them.

I hated our fans before, now I know we have the most dumb frick fans in the country.

Many tout escaping that rout as Ed's signature win, but historically LSU just had to show up for a win in home games vs AU.
It took a '99 3-8 caliber team for WDE to last overcome the jinx of DV.
Even 2009, Miles worst team ever, beat them by 21 in TS.

Took a complete meltdown to beat Auburn because they were kicking our arse

You could say the same thing about our loss to Florida in 2016 and the ND game as well so I'm not sure what your point is.
