The unfortunate thing is that not all free trade is equal. if two countries have similar standards of living there is nothing wrong with a German engineer riding a Harley and an American executive driving a BMW.

The problem comes when you have free trade with countries with disparate standards of living.

Britain rubs its hands together with glee at the thought of the trade agreement they're going to get with the US.

They might have a point if he said he wanted free trade.

But alas, he only said he wants fair trade. So yeah. Good luck with your melt, EU.

Incorrect. Trump has said many times free trade is the ultimate goal but if that isn't possible then fair trade is the absolute minimum to be acceptable.

exaxctly. we can't make other countries play fair, but we can damn sure protect our own interests when they don't.

They would have an even better chance of getting it if they could just stop shitting on America and its President and set up a state visit with the Queen.

It's beyond pathetic how France has a much better relationship with the Trump admin.

I wouldn't rule out the involvement of Britain in this whole corruption scandal.

A former MI6 spy is at the spearhead of the entire thing.

Trump should just pull a 'Rick's Cafe American' on those Frenchies:
