Playing for Saban versus playing for 0.

Easy choice.

Not part of the losing to Troy and Notre Dame culture?

Why doesn’t everyone just go there and we just hand them an annual championship.

Why join for a free ring? There’s no honor of earning it when it’s that easy.

At least he's honest. Can't blame him honestly. At this point, if my son was sitting on offers from LSU and Bama, I'd be hard pressed to push for LSU right now.

That kills me to say as a die-hard LSU fan.

It's easy for these kids to go to Alabama. They are winning championships. All this bullshite with "I was torn between LSU and Alabama but they win". frick that crap, then come to LSU and let's try to turn this shite around. No, it's a easy out going to Alabama!

No different than a kid picking MIT over Louisiana Tech if they had the option.

I suppose he didn't have any confidence in his own ability to help turn the LSU program in that direction. Took the easy road?

You can't really blame a kid or his parents if they did choose a school because they feel it is well run and the kid will benefit from his time there.

Personally, I don't think I would go or send my son to go to Bama under Saban if we had the kind of talent these kids have. But that's just because I don't much care for his personality type. On the other hand, I can't say the current culture or vibe around the LSU program would entice me much either.
