Flying out next week & will be there for a week. Have whale watching & luau booked & driving road to Hana but other than that we are open. Staying in Kaanapali.

Have been to Oahu & Kaua’i but first trip to Maui. Daughter will be with us so not planning on any high end meals. Any suggestions for activities would be appreciated. Have heard about watching sunrise from Haleakala but right now we are leaning towards not doing that.

I'm also flying out to Maui early next week. Interested in replies. We have snorkeling Molokini and turtle town also booked.

You absolutely need to do a bike ride down the volcano.

Did it twice. Once with a guide, once without. Much prefer the self guided tour.

30+ mile bike ride of which you have to pedal maybe half a mile.

How old?

The suggestions differ greatly if the daughter is 21, 18, 10 or 5

Mamas is great but if you don't want high end meals, its out. Road to Hana is great but it's a LONG day for small kids. Haleakala is awesome and I would definitely suggest riding down but thats not doable if your kid is probably under 12 or so.

If you are in Kaanapali you are not too far from the Nakale blowhole. and the cliff dive ceremony at the Sheraton. There are also restaurants on the beach path at Whalers Village.

Order this off Amazon, it's a must-have and is good reading on the flight. I beleive they now also have an app.
