Like hand wash and interior from h2o auto spa on Jefferson? It takes them 2 hours and it’s $120.

Yeah it’s a lot but it’s a detail shop that makes your car like new. It’s a large suv so the price is high.

Sorry, won’t be paying $120+ tip to anyone for regular car washes.

Now, once every couple of years, I would consider a detail job but would hunt for $80 bucks or so.

$120 for two hours of cleaning and detailing sounds fair. A $20 to $30 tip would be sufficient for a job well done imo.

Says some retard with a reading comprehension problem.

A complete detail on a large SUV 120 is not out of line. A good job done as above 10-20 bucks is fair.

Tipping us out of hand. They told you a price on how much to do it and for 120 I would expect a bang out job. No tip for a contract price.

Would you tip a guy pouring concrete for you? I’m a concrete contractor and would never accept a tip from anyone for doing the job you hired me to do and I will do my best work every time.

why do people feel the need, or obligation, to throw money away after getting a service they have already paid in full for and often at a stiff premium cost?

if you have too much money just give it to a poor person, not someone charging you $60 an hour to wash your car

True. No tip for contract work. If it's an employee, 20%.

If you’re paying 60/hr for a car wash, you need to re-evaluate your life

Depends on the service, same as everything. If they did exactly what you paid them to do, no tip. If you think they went beyond that, tip what you feel is appropriate. It's your money.

A car wash is not a full detail

Seems like a perfect setup for laundering the proceeds from selling some crystal.
