The Clippers and Pistons are engaged in serious talks on a deal centered on All-Star forward Blake Griffin, league sources tell ESPN.

Interesting that LA doesn’t have an interest in making the playoffs this year. I imagine they get Stan Johnson and Bradley + in the deal.

This is honestly a good haul for LAC

Probably RJax will be added. I don't think SVG likes Rjax too much.

This is likely LAC clearing space to make a run at LBJ and PG13

Didn’t Reggie sign a huge deal? Would the money work?

Any physical Center out there for Celtics? They need some size and a guy who will bang down there, not 6'10 players shooting 3's.

Very few nba players have no trade clauses.

quote:

Regular readers surely know this lecture by heart by now. NBA players are only eligible for an outright no-trade clause in their contracts after spending eight seasons in the league -- at least four with the same team -- and only when the clause is specifically negotiated into a new deal as opposed to an extension to a previous contract that did not contain a no-trade clause.

Next to LBJ, he's probably the most athletic and freakishly gifted player in basketball you CAN'T outmuscle this dude and no no trade clause but a 15% trade kicker

This has to be for cap relief only. You get a solid wing defender on a rookie deal and Bradley, in which I can not imagine resigning. Maybe Stanley moves into a small ball 4 role for them because his shooting may be on Roberson's level.

Pretty wild to sign him to a big contract and then flip him a couple months into the season

Going from LA to Detroit is brutal

Yeah I’m hoping OKC can still target Bradley who’s on the expiring deal. Obviously LA is looking for assets here.

So is Stan trying to create the Clips 2.0 with Balke and Andre? That team would be so devoid of shooting without Harris and Bradley.

I agree with this... Just CAN'T stay healthy.....

A high risk move for any team he may go to.. Its unreal that for how good of shape he keeps himself that he has had all these injuries..............
