Add to that - the country was anointing Deshaun Watson as the next big thing in the NFL.

If you weren't aware of Inside the NBA's vendetta, you probably didn't notice. But they refuse to say anything positive about the Rockets no matter what.
Every single time the Rockets play on TNT, they could win a game by 30 right now and they will only talk about how the other team didn't play well and had a bad game and analyze them. They never give the Rockets credit for a great game they played.
And it's not just one time that it happens like that. Every single time the Rockets play well, Rockets fans will say "let's see how they spin this one". And they always find away to avoid speaking positively... sometimes to a laughable level.
Barkley has said on air it's because the owner (until this year when he sold the team), Leslie Alexander, cheated him out of $5 million.
So it's not just some biased fan perception. It's real.
It's been like that for so long that I, and other people, really don't care anymore, but it is annoying when people act like it's nonsense whining and there isn't really a bias there. There is.
