It was written by an illegal immigrant Hispanic who is an ordained Southern Baptist preacher.

Questions abound.

As someone without a dog in the fight, yes. Plainly.

Wrong. Jesus was Baptist. He was baptized by John the Baptist and preached the Baptist faith

All I do is look to scripture itself to find the answer, and what Christ Himself said on the matter, and it all comes back negative toward the prosperity stuff.

Chrstian is being “Christ-Like”, right? So, did Christ say to lay up treasures on this earth? Far from it. He said that where your treasure is there will your heart be also. He said that it is easier for a camel to get through the of of the needle than a rich man to get into heaven, the eye of the needle being the lowly entrance into Jerusalem where the poor and humble entered I take it. And, more than anything, His life itself was not one that surrounded itself with extravagance but rather very humble and giving. Christ did not walk this earth in fine garments, or driving nice chariots, I don’t see Christ wearing fine jewelry, or a Rolex, or living in a mansion with his own private jet.

When the people came to take Him by Force and make Him King over Israel, He departed to the wilderness. He said multiple times that this was NOT His kingdom, and so He did not desire anything of this world. In using Him and His own life here as an example of how to be Christ-Like, which is clearly the only way to do so, there’s nothing whatsoever that leads me to a prosperity gospel, unless of course it’s not the gospel you use to find that, in which I have no desire for any of that.

I think preachers who preach "if you do this, God will bless you financially and with good health" are misguided, yes. That's not what Scripture teaches.

You'd think that from the countless quotes and examples in biblical canon, but clearly that is wrong. Jesus only loves rich baptists and if they are really good at praying, he buys them jumbo jets

Creflo is not the issue. The issue is that people are weak and desperate to belong to some group or association.

Church, fraternity, etc.

absolutely false. Catholicism is a perverted, ritualistic denomination of Christianity. Catholics believe in various methods of paying for sins; Jesus clearly established that he is the only method of payment for sins.

prosperity gospel is completely incompatible with Christ. Wealth is a distraction from God, as well as a source of pride. God's goal for all people is to completely rely on Him through Jesus Christ, and people who are wealthy won't rely on God. God also fully expects all credit and glory, and people who are wealthy/highly successful rarely give God any credit or glory.

Jesus also spoke about God providing our needs, and he said "store up for yourselves treasures in Heaven". How can prosperity gospel be compatible with that statement? Jesus also we can't serve to masters; we will hate one and love the other or vice versa.
