Your wish has been partially granted. Many of the people who loved the OT saw TLJ one or zero times. Many of those people were the type who watched the originals multiple times in theaters and desperately wanted to like the new stuff as well. Certainly you can disparage those people as fanboys but that seems like name calling instead of just admitting it could be done to just about any pop culture phenemonon (like Hunger Games if you made Katniss a weak and useless hobo who gave up on her family in a sequel).
In either case I don't think calling those people names like fanboy would be either useful or honest.

B (TLJ)
A is an odd moment in an underwhelming film, but you can pretty easily figure it out.
Lex Luthor is at the top of the food chain in the defense contractor world, and the political flunky dude (was he in the Cabinet or Senate, I forget?) NEEDS to tolerate him. Lex is portrayed as odd and quirky (almost a Riddler, psychologically). Totally at odds with the comic Lex, but prior movie Luthors haven't been much better. The bigger complaint there is WHY NOT PORTRAY LUTHOR AS HE IS?
But again, in-movie, and apparently in DCU, it actually fits.
B on the other hand- goes against Luke Skywalker as portrayed by Mark Hamill. TLJ in in it's entirety does that, and that scene is just repulsive on many levels.
If you want to have a milking scene, make the creature look like a cow. Don't have it sitting in an oddly anthropomorphic way, with the 'teats' down by it's groin. There was clearly some intent and thought in the design, and whatever that intent was, it came across as disgusting.

I'm only talking about some of the fan boys. I could probably call myself a fanboy.
I'm referring the the type of people who invested so much time into the theories about Rey and Snoke, and when it turned out to be nothing they got butthurt that the movie didn't go the direction they wanted.
And you don't have to like the direction. As I said in the first post, there is plenty of room for criticism. But the people acting like this movie ruined their childhood and attacked them as a person are ridiculous.

The milk scene isn’t even that cringe to me. The Leia Mary poppins bs was way more cringy.

Absolutely. That's actually what I expected when I clicked on the thread.

Good lord you are like talking to a brick wall.
I do no think a mass of people would have freaked out and thought RJ was implying she was blowing the space cow. Only the same weird asses who are doing it now with Luke like you would do that.
Yea as in I don't think there would be any noticeable increase.
It is not a jizz eating scene and the fact that you are a vet and STILL seem to think that was meant to be a BJ even though those are clearly space sea cow tits has got to be one of the weirdest things I've read on TD.
Serious question... When Jar Jar stepped into a pile of animal shite in Phantom were you wondering what deeper meaning Lucas was trying to show us or did you accept it as the obvious poop joke that it was?
When Luke is totally grossed out by Yoda's food was there a double meaning there too? Like was Yoda trying to make Luke eat literal shite to signify his place on the totem pole? Or was it just that Yoda lived on a fricked up planet where the crap available to eat was nasty for the average joe who grew up on a planet with normal space food?
When Luke brought down the AT-AT with the ropes was that supposed to signify his deep burning desire to bring the Empire crashing down instead of him simply blowing more shite up?
When Leia kissed Luke did you suddenly think that there was something it meant other than her claim of it being for luck?
One more time. Sometimes a duck is just a duck. Sometimes a silly gross out gag is just that. Everything in a movie does not need to have a secondary meaning.
As for the complaints, again, people are going to bitch about ridiculous shite no matter what. There are crazy people ON THIS SITE who think that Frozen was some sort of lesbian opus b/c the love that cured the curse on Elsa came from another woman. Does it matter to them it was her sister Anna? No. A woman cried for another woman so it MUST mean LESBIANS!!!

Ask yourself if that scene would have been appropriate if Leia was a Jedi hermit tracked down by Rey and you should have your answer for Luke as well.
What if it wasn't space or Star Wars, and Luke was just the hot shot lawyer they were trying to convince to come back to help with a big case but he was tired of the rat race and retired to a farm and he squeezed off some fresh cow's milk to drink. Is it weird? Yes, but he's a fricking hermit, he's supposed to do weird shite. You guys sexualizing this and over analyzing this are out of your damn minds. If I were editing the movie would I cut those 5 seconds? Sure, but only because it's more gross than funny, I wouldn't be triggered by them, I might even see if the CGI artists could change the creature in a way to make it less gross and more funny. It should be able to make people laugh rather than cringe.

I didn't even see his earlier posts on that. That is single-handedly the dumbest criticism I've seen about this movie, and that's saying a lot.

I know a woman who wrote an entire dissertation on Huckleberry Finn where she discussed how Huck and Jim rafting down the Mississippi was akin to men seeking and exploiting the promise of a vagina, out of desperation as well as ambition.

B....I've never had an issue with that Luthor scene. There were far worse parts in BvS than that particular scene.

Oh my... I came up with silly stuff to extend some of my college papers back in the day but that one as an entire dissertation is a bit much.

Holdo's "Godspeed Rebels" was FAR worse...

This.
Although Luke's 4th wall breaking head nod/tilt is what makes that scene terrible. If they would have played it more natural, it would have been fine.
The BvS scene is just one in a movie full of awful choices (choices that are often worse than anything in TLJ, honestly).

The milk scene. How do those creatures even move? Much less procreate.
