How many elections do they need to interfere with?
When haven't they interfered with our elections?
The left is just mad b/c they lost this time and are totally projecting on the Russian collusion accusation...that is Team Hillary has been colluding with Russia for a long time.

What else?
Just this week this came out that they're training Bosnian separatist militias.

Russian-trained mercenaries are helping to establish a paramilitary unit serving the Serb separatist leader in Bosnia, it was reported in Sarajevo on Friday. The report on the Žurnal news site, which was confirmed by the Bosnian security minister, comes at a time of mounting western anxiety about Russian efforts to destabilise the Balkans and resist Nato enlargement in the region.

US global hegemony is underpinned by preventing a Eurasian superpower from developing, and the US Navy’s unchallenged dominance over the global oceans / seas. The two are related: the only thing keeping Russia from achieving the ability to threaten us is it’s lack of access to warm water ports.
Should a power such as Russia achieve its objective of securing permanent, stable ports from which a significant Navy could be deployed / supported, it’s a direct threat to us. Otherwise, NATO is a waste of time, and we could just let them have Europe at limited geopolitical cost.

quote:Do tell how to punch the Bear in the nose? That is the most idiotic summation of global policy I've read today. Should we shoot down there reconnaissance planes? how about we fire an ICBM over Moscow into the North Sea, or should we buzz Vladivostok with some B52s? Better yet lets carpet bomb some of their troops in Ukraine.
A bully you punch in the nose occasionally.

That answer is absolutely correct but a bit to detail and reality heavy for the 'I love Vlad" fan club.

Enemy? That's a touch strong.
But Russia sees us a rival. The US is blamed (by official media) for their domestic problems. That is a situation to be very concerned about.
Is Russia gonna nuke us anytime soon? Nope.
Will Russia hesitate to check us through non-diplomatic means if they can? Yep.

Couldn't the same be said about China?

Always been a fan of this. It's not "their" troops any. At least per Putin.
