Looks like he will LB coach at A&M. I’m aware of his failures as CO DC but was curious about him as a position coach/recruiter.

I’m very sorry. He was one of the worst coaches LSU has had in a while, besides our current head coach.

Good recruiter and decent LB coach. Abject failure at coordinating anything.

Players' families and other coaches seem to like him, a lot.

Awful ST coach

Didn’t want him anywhere near the LBs/DL

Very good recruiter in Tx, was with Jimbo here in 05-06.

Hell of a sriracha infused bbq sauce.

Decent coach and great recruiter. After the D.C. debacle and he had to leave the first time Saban went after him hard but he was too loyal to Miles to go there.

Not so good as a special teams coordinator

Overall good dude and solid recruiter.

Whatever unit he is in charge of usually performs subpar.

Like others have said he’s a great recruiter. Did well in Houston for us. Problem is any other title he holds seems to be mostly for show. Any unit he coaches, you’ll notice there’s probably another guy on staff capable of coaching it, and then there will be chatter that it’s a group effort among several coaches, then that unit will look like shite on the field.

With Brewster and Peveto Jimbae is going to have quite the Texas recruiting presence.

Hopefully Orgeron talking about he and his mother’s gumbo recipe with his nursing home staff can overwhelm bradley’s Dry rub

Very good recruiter. Terrible on-field coach. Was terrible here as co-defensive coordinator. Came back and was equally bad as special teams coach and as a linebackers coach. Miles was loyal to him to a fault.

Orgeron’s first move as permanent head coach was to fire him. Didn’t even wait until after bowl season or Signing Day.

A&M’s hiring of him is almost solely for his recruiting ability.

LSU hates successful coaches. Good luck with this.

Pretty sure he started DJ Welter at MLB over eventual star and NFL player Kendell Beckwith. All you need to know

Good News: Great recruiter

Bad News: Horrible coach, your special teams will suffer.

How bad was he?

LSU opted to have no Special Teams coach on staff than have Peveto last year.

Terrible coach, big rah rah zero substance. Obviously has a relative at 247 that gives him credit for players Corey Raymond and/or Frank Wilson recruited to LSU.

Bad hire. Arranda’s first official act as DC was to get Brad Dale away from the D.

He had a better overall HC record than Ed O before Ed got the LSU job.

Not that good a coach, but he's a GREAT recruiter. If he was still on LSU's staff, sadly, he would be the 3rd best coach on there behind Aranda and Raymond.
