I don't buy one freaking lick of it and it quite pisses me off that you even think such thing.
5 years you've totaled 16 million dollars
But you won't play another year making 14.5 million under the tag? Get the frick out of here.

He may be referring to anal experiences in the locker room. #himtoo

He's crazy good and with his hesitation style and WR-level hands, he could play for a long time.
I don't know anything about contracts though. Just wanted to say I love watching him play and think he should be paid $1 more than the 2nd highest paid RB.

Why? It’s his life

Is it just me, or is Pittsburgh "Headcase Inc."?

I want to see what Bell would do on a team that plays in a Dome. Imagine him linking up with Andrew Luck in Indy.

I mean, RB in the NFL has a very short shelf life, what is wrong with him wanting to get a max contract? One injury on a tag and he can kiss half his salary goodbye, possibly even his career.
Makes total sense.

Do you really think he would be better in Indy’s offense than the one he’s currently in?

If he were to leave Pittsburgh then Philly would be an interesting place for him to land. Detroit and Minnesota also.

Put LeVeon Bell in a Eagles uniform, and the rest of the NFC can kiss their chances goodbye.

no, he can nearly double his accumulated earnings with one stroke of a pen... to say you'll retire if you don't get what you think you're worth.... ain't happening.

It is clearly just a threat in terms of retirement.
And it's not about the 1 year $14 million, you want stability later on in your career.
His market value is 5 years $53.8 million. You want to get that money and stability through age 30-31 season, especially as a workhorse RB in the NFL.

He's in an odd place of pay spectrum.. clearly he deserves to be the top paid running back but what he wants in both years and guareenteed money is so far removed from the next highest paid back that I can see why the steelers give pause..

He plays a position with the shortest half life of any NFL position. And he's the best player in the NFL. Why the frick would he not want to maximize his earning potential?
