I remember coach Ed decided to offer Tua a scholarship.

Never in the running.

Only reason we offered him was to take a dart throw at Kiffin who was never coming here

Why would Ed go after Tua like that? Didn’t he know it would piss off Miles?

wishful thinking at best with Kiffin leaving.

Kiffin was arrogant enough to think Tua was committing to him and not Alabama and gave O bad information.

I agree with this theory

No chance. Probably already got his new dodge before O called.

Not close at all. All it did was cause both Brennan and Narcisse to both decommit temporarily. One of Ed's better plans.

I doubt LSU was close to getting him. And the current state of LSU makes it hard to believe any top flight QB will choose LSU over Bama or other big programs.

O took Kiffin's job the way he took Miles'.

There are times I wonder if Kiffin actually hates O, but O is too stupid to realize this. So he strings him along with shite, just to make him fall on his face publicly.

Going after Tua was a waste of time, and it almost cost us both Brennan and Narcisse. If he did this on Kiffin's advice, I think Kiffin was sabotaging him.

I wonder if Kiffin was feeding Ed some BS about either jumping, or using Briles (who he knows is toxic to the Power 5) just to further stir the pot here, and make O look bad again.

Another bonehead move by Orgeron who only did it to try and persuade his buddy Lane Kiffin to become LSU's OC. But in doing so he nearly ran off Myles Brennan who was pissed and so was his family, but they cooled off and recommitted. It was kind of a precursor of who Orgeron is.

I said Kiffin probably didn't take the OC job with him because he felt insulted that he would have to work for Orgeron who he probably looks at as being inferior to himself, alright for O to be his buddy and work for him at USC, but not the other way around. Lol Really, I don't know why Alleva didn't just go after Kiffin, I mean he should have picked up on Kiffin's desire to leave Saban, but LSU people at the time would have or was down on hiring a Kiffin.

This wouldn't shock me. Eddy is inferior to Kiffin. I would never want to have to work for that tard.
