Why would he leave the NFL to come to LSU? He doesn't have to recruit and he's at the top of his profession right now.

They would have to be completely retarded to wait that late to hire someone. They could potentially be waiting until close to NSD. That would be supremely stupid.

Could be stupid then again who's left to sign other than Chase on the offense this class? Early signing period helped with getting guys early.

Perhaps Atlanta is getting on him about his drinking. If he comes to LSU that is just considered character and makes him one of us.

If he wanted to be in college why not stay at Bama and coach for a better coach while being in the playoffs every year?

Not like we are trying to sign a bunch of offensive players. Looks like two dbs and maybe a reciever. They can tell the reciever who they are getting.

It would be completely ignorant, or worse, to think that it mattered this year on offense.

I think O may want Sark, but Sark views the LSU job as a fallback. I suspect O is hoping Sark gets let go, whereas Sark is hoping a good playoff run helps him keep his job with the Falcons.

Assuming that a) Sark prefers the LSU job over the Falcon job or b) Sark already knows he will be fired. I don't think either is the case.
