Why I haven’t been posting.

Because I haven’t heard more than “some interest” about Gilbert. I never heard of him being interviewed and I certainly didn’t hear that Ensminger would be promoted to some sort of Co OC role. I have 3 sources. 1 Upper TAF guy, 1 Upper Gridiron Club guy, 1 mid level admin building guy. None have told me about a Gilbert interview. It has been quiet because they’re being very deliberate. So there’s no “updates” to give. I would be dumb to throw out fabricates pieces of info just in the hopes of currying favor with the board.

Appreciate ya, Random. In my opinion this long process (though it’s only been a week or so) can only be good. I’m hoping they’re not frickin around and are doing due diligence to make the right hire. Trust the process, right? GEAUX TIGERS!

We will know who the OC will be when it’s announced. All the speculation and rumors are just that. Use to be able to come here for news now it’s just a bunch of people wanting to be the guy who knows. Kinda like the media who we all hate.

If nobody can confirm anything then that means they learned their lesson from the previous coaching searches. Or they got rid of the leak.
