When have I been wrong? I was Told LSU is doing everything it can to keep Aranda. Ill ask in a few if there is any knew word.

If it does turn out to be wrong, I'd consider it a big black eye for you. You went at it pretty hard, starting a thread on the day of the bowl and using strong language like "real legs" and something about not getting on the plane to come back with the team.

Just my opinion of course, but it wouldn't be the first time that someone who seemed to have legit sources turned out pretty much not to.

I’m sure several people (Pruitt, Elko, Tucker for sure) felt A&M going after them hard.

I still don’t think we’ve reached the point of money whipping Aranda yet. I think Jimbo found somebody he likes more for less. Or likes good enough for less.

If true Aleva needs to go.

I know Chavis wasn't great but the way his contract was handled was horrible
Than the entire Les Miles debacle, don't fire him when he should have been fired, than fire him mid season and hire an unproven coach when you had a chance at Jimbo or Herman
It's not clear what is going on with Canada but he probably plays a factor in this
Now we possibly could lose one of the best defensive minds in college football to our rival, the second time they've done this to us.

At-least he got us a good basketball coach.

Pretty sure the term snowflake means you don't have thick skin. The O side is the one over reacting to every comment. So I'm thanking that's a more apt description for you, snowflake

1.5 mil buyout instead of 1/2 mil is all the 500 mile thing means.

Don't let the few who will blast you piss you off. The run around looking for people to do that too all day. Maybe it makes them feel important. Maybe it makes them jealous because they don't have any actual info. Either way, frick em.

- Maybe Aranada doesn't like the direction the program is headed and wants out before the ship sinks.

- maybe the issue is Orgeron, and not Canada. Not many would have as much of an inside view of what is really going on. Aranda may see what's going on and want out, because he either has issues with O as well...or doesn't want to stick around and wait for the issues to come up.

- maybe Aranada's agent knows he has LSU by the absolute nut sack. They can't afford to lose him, and everybody knows it. So he should be able to list his demands and get them, even if its making $1 less than Orgeron. Who can argue that he's not the most stable/most important thing about the football team (which sadly is a joke...because he we made the correct HC hire, this either wouldn't be a discussion about him leaving...or it wouldnt be this big of a blow if he would).

The ability to attract and retain coaches is not just a money issue. For very many, it also has a lot to do with the situation, who is your head coach, do you have an opportunity to learn from that head coach and continue to grow as a coach. Do you think the program headed in the direction that will provide opportunity for advancement, or is it heading in a direction that could possibly set your career back a couple of years.

Most assistant coaches will jump at the opportunity to work for Saban because of the significant potential to advance their careers, even though they may personally hate the
guy. Conversely, a coach who has a poor track record, or is leading a program that is heading in the wrong direction, may lose assistants who think the world of that coach personally.

Well considering myself to be a lifelong, loyal LSU fan I would not find any humor in the possibility of losing Aranda

this just isn’t true.

There have been a very large number of predictions that the program is effectively dead and we’re on our way back to the 90s. All before ANYTHING has happened. The pre-melt on the rant has been going on for 5 days straight.
