Visually it is stunning. Deep dark magenta with a puce foamy head. The base Berliner is the same as the others so it may seem "thin" again but you won't have to search for the fruit. The aroma is like buttermilk muffins with blueberry gastrique. The flavor is the typical sourness of a fresh slightly-unripe blueberry up front with more jammy fruit lingering on the palate. Definitely my favorite of the ones I've tried thus far (raspberry, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, cherry, peach). I have two more and will open them periodically to see how this one develops over time.

Just finished running some errands. Walked by the shelf turd section at Wegmans
Finished up with a shoe fitting at a local run store. First time I have had some assistance with a fitting. I'll see what this Brooks thing is all about.

I like the Rye better but they are both good. The base is Holy Roller which is great so any variant won't be bad.
I think with the SpruceTip I was hoping for a bit more resin. But, like I said both are very enjoyable.

Back from a trip to Costco's. My electric smoker is dead, so I had to change my plans to smoke a prime rib roast.

That sucks Kim bit better it happen before you started the smoke than during.
