1st year OC making over a million splitting with a big time program without a HC job linked to him isn’t normal, Lester.
C’mon.
An OC making $1.5 mil a year isn’t leaving without all of that money if he wants to actually be at lsu

No shite.
Loves Aranda (who coaches on his side of the ball) but is threatened by Canada (who coaches on the other side of the ball).
That is comedy gold.
Even for people like me, who were against this whole Orgeron experiment, you guys have gone too far.

People are acting like coach O was the only coach to ever meddle in the offense

Canada was lured to LSU from Pitt under the premise that this was his offense, and he would experience a unique amount of autonomy.
“[Pitt] was a special place with Coach [Pat] Narduzzi,” Canada said at his introductory news conference. “He allowed us the freedom to do our job, and Coach O certainly said that [he would too].”

LOL the ultimate comeback for you O boys. He doesn't know shite about the offensive side of the ball baw. Time will tell.

Canada. Wants. Out.
Yes, because of the HC meddling in his offense.
Why are they paying him to leave? If this was all about him wanting to leave, they wouldn't owe him a penny. Companies don't usually pay employees to leave if they're dead set on leaving.

It's well known that Saban and Kiffin couldn't stand each other but the best coach in college football put his ego aside and we all know that he has an ego and let Kiffin coach and what a success. Here at LSU we hire O and he cannot let go of his ego. Unadulterated Balderdash. What's his buyout after January 1 because we are going to need it. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)

I made that comparison in another post. Of course one can't compare the IQ level of Saban and O. It's like comparing a MIT graduate to a ULL graduate.

The players I spoke to in Oct hated the offense because it was too complicated and was like learning 2 playbooks instead of 1 in the same amount of time. And it wasn't exactly producing more.

Just wait until ND runs over LSU in the bowl game. The offense will sputter without Canada
I think Canada is coaching the bowl game.

Wait that can't be I just read another post that claims they loved it and it was the easiest offense they had ever tried to learn. That is totally opposite information coming from the rant. I can't believe it.

I liked Canada's offense and think it would have continued to evolve under the potentially dynamic young QBs next year.
Ensminger made the offense look much better as OC in the 2nd half of last year. If he ends up as the guy next year, I will begin the season optimistic until something shows me otherwise.
I look at the situation as a slight mark against O with next year's results on the field being the more important barometer.

And if he wants out unconditionally, essentially quitting his job, a school isn't paying him money to quit.

This could be the beginning of the end for Coach O.

He has all the leverage. Him accepting any less of what he is owed is essentially doing what you are saying.
You don’t quit your job and not collect money when you are under contract. How dumb of a baw are you?
Posted on 12/28/17 at 2:36 pm to Lester Earl
If it’s he that wants out all on his own than he has no leverage and would be owed nothing.

Naw. He’s learned from his experience at Ole Miss. our one man search committee said so.
