If was my dad I would just paid in full!!! When he is gone you will miss him.
Yes, I have one of those. A friend who attends auctions says one of those will bring 1500-1600 easily even in terrible condition at atv auctions.
Still can happen but not as easily as once was due to people becoming more intelligent of land/timber values. You would need a cruise of timber before buying the land/timber and then make sure you can get a logging contractor to cut it. If it is a very small acreage then usually they wont fool with it due to cost of moving machinery, etc to sight.

Yes, I work there. Could have been a lot worse with only 2 lives lost.
Many times you can catch a used one that commercial landscapers has traded in. Most of them trade each year to get the depreciation. I just paid $5,000 for one that new costs $16,500 and still has 4 years warranty on it.
When was younger was fishing Toledo Bend one night with 2 buddies. The old fashion coleman lantern fell off seat and gas in bottom of boat flared up. We all bailed out thinking we was fixing to get fried. I went out of sight and when I came up my buddies was standing in about waist high water on the other side of the boat. We were in the middle of a old road bed and I was the one that picked the deep side.

Cut up squirrels and put in crock pot with large can of mushroom soup. Cook on low for about 6 hours and it will be falling off bone

If he truly wants to use your stud dog he will do what you want.
re: Longest kill shot you ever made on a deer and what caliber rifle?
Posted by Swampman on 2/6/19 at 3:22 pm to CouldCareLess
Between 500 and 600 yards. Deer was being run by dogs toward me in about 12 inches of water down a pipeline. Jelly rolled it on 3rd shot from Remington 30-06. First 2 misses my father was standing beside me telling me where the bullet was hitting the water and I kept adjusting. I was about 16 taking rest on hood of truck.

Flathead fishing on Bistineau is a hidden secret. Have a friend who at one time would catch over 500 lbs a year on drop lines-then he go to old to do it. You will have to fight the moss now!!!

If any will fit in crock pot you can barbecue it or put mushroom soup on it with taters and carrots

5 year old on a turkey
That is one thing I have noticed for years. Bama and LSU recruits come in basically same size, etc but when they leave there is a tremendous difference. Who is to blame-dunno.
Think Ole Miss is pushing for him
I remember the first ones "turned loose" in North la. around 1959. My father stopped by house and picked me up to go watch. I was about 8 years old at that time. He told me something I remember to this day. He said he would not live to see it but that I would when they would become a nuisance and he was correct. I don't remember when we could legally hunt them from the date they were turned loose. Some of the old timers who had to go to Tensas to hunt before then would run them with there coon dogs shortly after they were turned lose in parish. Killed my first one the first year it was legal with a 20 gauge with a slug in front of dogs. What still hunting was done was setting on ground up against a big tree after finding where they were eating acorns. Actually a lot easier than someone would think.
Wonder what the timber cruise reflects on it?
I tried 30% beef fat with deer this year for hamburgers. It seems to be great. Might could get by with less though. The beef fat is easily obtained at local grocery stores. Hog fat is a little harder to get since deer processing usually keeps it bought up.
