Wouldn’t surprise me at all now.

A report surfaced that Tenn and a unnamed west coast school also offered Canada last year but we paid much higher and ended up getting him.

Sucks if what you say is true. Canada will have full control with a young rookie coach and time to actually develop his offense.

That didn't work out last year waiting for Kiffin to decide. They won't do that again. It doesn't matter if Falcons make playoffs, it matters that Sark publicly commits to LSU. If Falcons are out of playoffs, season over. If they are in the playoffs, and Falcons make a run and offense looks great, do you get rid of Sark if you are Falcons? Does Sark change his mind, etc...

Nonetheless, Sark is not loving the NFL. Either way, point is LSU wants an answer and commitment from Sark and can't wait until playoffs are over. Remaining recruits want to know who our OC is ASAP.

I don't think Sark will leave the NFL because he's not loving it. He'll leave because he's getting fired. If he's not getting fired, he's not going to leave.

You spelled it out pretty clearly haha and there’s only 3 teams right now in the sec that have vacant o coordinator spots. And one of them offered Canada the job last year haha.

If he goes to Tennessee he’ll do well

If it's Tennessee, we'll likely never even play a Canada run offense. Isn't it going to be about 4 years before we play them again?

I'd rather Canada stay, but if he lands at Tennessee I'll be good with that. Sounds like it would be a good fit for him, too. It's closer to his son and Pruitt will probably give him the autonomy and Orgeron promises, but didn't quite deliver.

If he were to got to Tenn, I think that's pretty telling of what a Bama DC thought of his Offense. I would love Canada to stay! I feel that his offense could be great here with someone who can actually sling the magic bean around the yard.

Saban called Canada’s offense “eye candy”. He wasn’t impressed.

He also stated repeatedly how bad an up-tempo offense was to college football and then hired Kiffin.

I agree. There is a high likelihood Sark will get run out of Atlanta, but not until the end of the season. Whenever that may be. Which is troubling for LSU to make a timely decision.

Look, a lot will happen come Monday night. I hear there are several Plan B's, one has been talked about on this thread, but another is that Canada will be retained despite what has been put out in the public way too early.

Heads are cooling off after some misunderstandings on the recruiting trail and lets just say some sketchy discussions about coaching vacancies.

I am also hearing there will be position changes (not firings) on the staff, but this will come to head next week pending Sark.

How did Sark fall into the falcons? I wonder why he wasn't retained at his previous job?

Sark was not fired by Saban. They disagreed on offensive philosophy and agreed to part ways. Sark got a promotion to the NFL.

Hopefully Mickey gets moved to something more suited to his skill level, like hydration coordinator or the back up coach, that’s the guy who constantly tells the players to back up on the sideline. I think he’d excel in either role
