Is there any realistic democratic candidate you could see defeating Trump in 2020?

If the stock market keeps soaring and he keeps bringing jobs back to America, I would think he'd win in pretty much a landslide. Is there even anybody that you could see giving him a run for his money? Warren would get embarrassed and I know there has been a recent surge about Booker.

Some entertainer might be able to pull it off, unfortunately.

Not under your premise. The Democrats are in real trouble. They picked the wrong horse and the other horse is too old (Biden). They’re left with a bunch of puppies.

But I wouldn’t mind if Jim Webb stuck his hat back in the ring.

As in Cuban? I've wondered why he changed his support for Trump so quickly. He supported him before he won the republican nomination.

Jim Webb is too much like Trump to differentiate. And he isn’t going to play their identity politics bullshite games. He’d place 4th in 3 man sack race.

No. Even if the Dems have some secret, wildcard candidate, they should probably hold him/her till 2024.

That’s probably true, and I think that’s why he dropped out in 2016. I don’t think he wants to play the game of national politics, especially on the identity politics side of the Democrats.

I think he’d make a fine President, though.

It will be Booker - they will go back to the 2008 well since they are out of ideas.

I’d have voted for Jim Webb if it was anybody else but Trump/Cruz

While a long way off three things.

1. The incredibly good news for DJT and supporters is that the media have shot their wad already.
2. A lot can happen in 3 years.
3. Still going with he won't run. And if the rnc wants to keep trying to f@ck him he can single handedly hand 2020 to the dems with ease lol.

Is Dwayne The Rock Johnson liberal or conservative? Because he's thinking about running I read somewhere.

This.

I think a case can be made that Trump will win easily and I think a case can be made that a Dem candidate with a modicum of likability could do better than Hillary.

A long way to go until 2020.

It's a pretty safe bet that Mark Cuban is going to primary DJT.

Realistic? 3 years out? Yes, several. So much can happen between now and then. 2018 will give us some context though.
