M. Obama would be a strong candidate especially if she ran as a Bill Clinton moderate.

Like her husband she is a blank slate who the media will portray as a moderate with common sense. She has no record to run against and she can easily be portrayed as warm and funny by the media.

I think someone like Jim Webb could have a shot, as he might also pull votes of some Repubs and Indys who never liked Trump to begin with.

The problem is he’s too moderate to win the Democrat Primary. That looney bin would never elect him as their candidate.

A few months ago I would have said maybe Franken, but that situation worked itself out.

Michelle Obama or Oprah Winfrey would give Trump a run for his money.

It's going to be Booker. There is no doubt.

Major dark horse but Cory Booker could end up being the 2020 candidate young guy (for politics) and very charismatic.

Let me think... off the top of my head, I'd say...

Cory Booker

Elizabeth Warren

Bernie Sanders

Joe Biden

Kamala Harris

Tim Kaine

Deval Patrick

Kirsten Gillibrand

Chris Murphy

Sherrod Brown

Hell, she isn't going to run thank God, but even Hillary would win round 2 if it came to that.

If the stock market keeps soaring and he keeps bringing jobs back to America, I would think he'd win in pretty much a landslide. Is there even anybody that you could see giving him a run for his money? Warren would get embarrassed and I know there has been a recent surge about Booker.

Just like it was impossible for anyone to foresee anyone defeating Hillary Clinton in 2016, it is impossible to foresee anyone defeating Donald Trump in 2020. This one is in the bag.

No, because a Republican will defeat him first.

Bobby Rush and Angela Davis would be a hell of a ticket. They are everything the dems stand for.

Anyone who believes trump’s background is only “entertainer” is either ignorant or dishonest

It's not. It includes WWF Hall of Fame member, titty bar owner, Miss USA/Universe pageant president and dude whose then wife/future ex-wife and mistress/future wife/future ex wife once got in a fist fight at a ski resort.

I truly believe that some goodness in the world sent him to defeat Hillary, but let's not kid ourselves. Trump is a media clown and I really hope the "celebrity president" buck stops at him.

Jim Webb is too much like Trump to differentiate. And he isn’t going to play their identity politics bullshite games. He’d place 4th in 3 man sack race.

I'm a huge Jim Webb supporter, and I'm also a huge Trump supporter. You're points are the reason for my previous statement. Lol

People who consider him a lock for term 2 only look at the EC vote, the tax cut and the Dow....consider he only got the EC vote because he won by razor thin margins in key states over possibly the worst Dem candidate put forth since Dukakis (she's probably worse than him, too) and he lost the overall pop vote. Secondly, I don't think that tax cut is going to garner as much favor as speculated...I don't think it's really going to matter either way since financial incentives are complicated and don't always yield the intended result. We're 3 years out...my fear is a Dem populist with actual leftist policies like Sanders takes the reigns of the Dem party...this populist movement is like an untethered fire hose...you have no idea where its going to blast next. It could get uglier than it already is.

end of thread... or else it should be.
There are no more "democrats", only commies and totalitarians in that fricked up party of victims.

I don't understand why conservatives aren't more concerned about Cory Booker.

By God, he’s gay! And while we’re a more gay friendly nation than we were 20 years ago we’re not about to elect a gay black man as president. And then there’s that editorial he wrote about sexually assaulting a chick. He can’t make it through a primary against snakes like Kamala Harris with baggage like that! America is not the TV show “Scandal” and for whatever reason the left seems to want to live that show out!
