"Fruit of Islam" coming to Troy rally against police brutality tomorrow (P 25)

A 17-year-old was beaten by police in Troy Saturday just before midnight. The incident started with police seeing him come from behind a closed business, but no crime had been reported. The boy fled, they caught up to him and then beat him after they say he was reaching for his waistband like he was going for a gun. They say they later found the gun along the path that they chased him. Only charges are misdemeanor obstruction of governmental operations and resisting arrest.
This case is going to be huge before long. Very likely Al Sharpton is going to be coming to Troy Saturday for a protest. Birmingham BLM also coming. I didn't see anything posted here yet about this. National news will be picking it up very soon I believe.

Too early to tell at this point, but I have no doubt this is gonna blow up. Maybe the cops will do that to Sharpton when he shows up - one can always hope.

That really looks painful. Hopefully, the cops were wearing body cams, so we can get the full story of the arrest.
