Tamiflu used to be cheap before the government started cracking down on how much adderall the pharmaceutical corporations could produce. The generic tamiflu is made of Ritalin and caffeine so it doesn't work as well

Yeah my son was around 102/103 for a day or so. Would go down with motrin then come back when it wore off.

I don't know much about Tamiflu but I know the last time I had the flu was about 10 years ago and it was a godsend.

At least they had the codene cough syrup.

I went through this yesterday. My oldest has it and I had to locate Tamiflu. I ended up paying for the premium version of it. Apparently, insurance companies don't pay for the premium version and Tamiflu is actually the generic form. That's what I was told by the pharmacist anyway. She said it was going to cost $300 to $700 for the script and I told her to come up with a better option. She came back and said it was $55 and that my insurance actually covered much more than others do. I got two bottles of it for $55. I could see myself parting with one bottle for $300 or so.

Or you could spend $20 on ibuprofen and Powerade

Flu is a virus. Nothing can kill a virus

It just has to run its course. Tamiflu would have made you mentally feel better, but you just have to ride it out

I know someone who had a psychotic reaction to tamiflu.
That shite fricked me up. Had the flu and got prescribed that crap. By day 2, I was curled up in a ball in the room's corner, convinced that something/someone was coming to "get me." I came to my senses, threw that shite out, and within another couple of days, my various psychoses were back within limits--at which point I tracked down one of my old coke buddies and found a different way to bring about those warm and fuzzy feelings.

Wow. Just wow. Why would you pay that much when you can pay less than $10 to ease the symptoms

It really does if it's taken within 48 hours of symptom onset.

A lot of OTCs help if you catch the symptoms early enough.

As said, Tamiflu is useless. Also, Tamiflu is pretty much in shortage every year.

Tamiflu does not work. Look at clinical trial results.

Tamiflu makes my family sicker than the flu itself.

Yeah. Ruston has it bad. Worst I've ever been sick I think. Drank half a bottle of NyQuil. Worst lasted about 3 days.

Antiviral medications can be used to knock the flu out.
