Judge Nap said they were legally obtained via a warrant. However, the custodian of the emails is supposed to notify Trump about the request and Trump should be given so many days to respond.

Dershowitz just said Judge Nap should know better...if there was a warrant we'll know about it soon enough, Dershowitz said they didn't have one,

Illegally obtained emails would be inadmissible in court so why would Mueller's team waste there time getting them in an illegal way.
Political witch hunt has everything to do with the court of public opinion.

As I understand SCO didn’t need a warrant. GSA must have agreed.

Mueller's spokesman has already said that the emails that weren't voluntarily given to him were obtained with a warrant.
there is no kind of warrant that applies to attorney client privilege items. Basically honest Bob has screwed himself out of being able to use anything he might have gotten from this, plus further damaged the reputation of his investigation

Read the article. GSA said no to Weismann and Mueller because there is a regulation/law on this already that says they are not subject to request. They heard they weren't deleted yet (which is a normal process) and took them when the GSA guy was in the hospital.

There is nothing in these e-mails that are a gotcha but they (Weissmann) were desperately looking for one. The Democrats and Trumphaters all think they got him now....when this is nothing but a tainted case. Especially being that the intent of this case commencing was from a fake narrative of the goldenshowers dossier and FISA warrant.

Not the idea. They are just using it to bait more perjury traps.

GSA does not have the power to waive someone else's attorney/client privilege. If there is any chance they are privileged, Honest Bob should have obtained an eithics opinion or followed rule 4.4.

Instead he waited until the gatekeeper was gone and surreptitiously gained access.

Honest Bob violating ethical standards is the issue.

I asked yesterday with no response so I’ll ask again.

I read here all the time the Mueller had already cleared Trump’s team and was now preparing indictments against all the democrats that set him up. How does that square with this current complaint from Trump?

Indeed.

The man armed warlords with US cash. That was his day job. His daughter thinks he's a murderer. Now he's getting his.

How was it surreptitious? Surely he wrote the request down, sent it with a signature required and then picked up information as requested.

It's not like he say, contacted someone who had gained access to their emails using a phishing attack, who kept all the emails and who then released them whenever it was politically convenient, while insisting that nobody knew who got the emails.

I would consider that use of GSA systems with no expectation of privacy cuts against any proper invocation of attorney-client privilege.

That’s probably why the transition attorney’s letter only made a generalized blanket reference to the privilege.

FBI was inside their legal scope since the transition is NOT part of the official government. It’s no different than getting campaign emails. Take a deep breath Polly

Why do you think Trump isn't firing him, or demanding Rosenstein to step down?

He got a FISA to tap Mueller, using the same precedent Obama used against him. Why else do you think the FISA judge is now recused?

Weissmann is being set up. Mueller will resign, or go down with him

Well, there IS something that explains the witch hunt. And it is the Trump Dossier and the "insurance policy" from one of Comey's top guys re Trump winning the election.

I'd love to read Comey and Meuller and Strzok's emails/communications re...election collusion.

Corrupt Hillary lost; they bet on the wrong horse. These f'rs are going down.
