The only head job still open is Kent State and Canada's name hasnt been mentioned in connection to it at all as far as I can tell.

So that leaves offensive coordinator positions. Was his offense impressive enough this year for some team to pay a $1.2 million buyout to get him?

That has to significantly reduce the possibilities.

Personally I'm thinking that Detillier is once again full of shite.

I just don’t see it. Why is it so assumed he’s gone?

I'm not sure why he is taken so seriously. The dude whiffs constantly.

The way he said he thought Canada would be gone yesterday, with the relationship that we all know he says he has with O, he had better be right.

The circumstances can only really get more favorable for him to predict correctly. He said that with only o a few open positions in the country. If he turns out to be wrong, he was clearly talking out of his arse.

If LSU wants him gone, they'll wave that buyout. That's a non-factor.

What's so hard to understand?

Orgeron wants him gone, he just knows the optics of bringing in an OC, admittedly meddling in the offense, then firing the OC after one season is a very bad look. O is hoping to save face by having Canada take another job.

Are you suggesting that the Rant overreacted and jumped to conclusions? What do you think this place is, some kind of LSU crackpot theories board?

Wait, you mean Cananda didn’t leave for a HC job and hasn’t been fired??????

Is it even remotely possible that the whole Canada leaving thing was an overblown rumor largely started by and propagated by the Rant?

That can’t be.

He has always been full of shite. Whenever he says something, the exact opposite usually ends up being true.

Just wait a few days and find out. I’d be willing to bet he isn’t wrong.

Let's hope he doesn't leave. If he does leave absolutely nothing positive will come from it for next season. I want to see LSU legitimately compete for the West next year and to do that there needs to be continuity. We are not in the same position Bama is where they can play musical chairs with coordinators and not miss a beat.

I was skeptical at first with his offense and was a big doubter but as the season went on I started to see the guys improve and it almost seemed foolproof at times.
I can’t wait to see this offense in year 2

Will say again - think Coach O needs to reevaluate his “Bayou Friends” - wtf was he thinking with his statements this close to the first signing day
