Here is a thread for the non-haters to discuss what they enjoyed about the movie. Favorite moments, favorite characters, shocking yet pleasantly surprising moments, etc.
One of mine: “See you around kid”. Luke was so entertaining in this movie. The Last Jedi indeed!

Yoda moment was just fantastic.. Rey and Kylo Snoke meeting and then preceding fight was fantastic. Luke’s finale was incredible.
The first non OT movie that understood the magic of the force.
Also had moments that I did not see coming which is rare for a 2017 movie.

The movie was very good, I never expect to get the epic feel of IV-VI back, but this was so much better than FA.

Thanks for starting this thread.
I just hopped into another one and saw those tools complaining about it.
The movie was absolutely incredible and I have no idea where they go from here. That snoke scene made my jaw drop.
For some reason, and I could be very wrong, I don’t know if that’s the end of snoke. That was way too quick with all the mystery surrounding his character and we still don’t know much about him.

“See you around kid”
And the scene where the remaining rebels see Rey lifting the rocks was pretty cool.
Not sure about the Snoke death.

Loved the end of the movie. Didn't even catch that the kid used the force to grab the stick but that was due to being second row from the screen in an Imax and some things were just blurred for me. But I thought that they did a great job of establishing what type of folks, when given a little bit of hope, can grow to make a difference in the rebellion (even going back to TFA with Finn's beginnings and now he's proud of being rebel scum). Luke's monologue of "Today the rebellion is reborn" combined with the ragtag group of heroes on the Falcon, and the kids at the end, was the most "Star Wars" feeling we've gotten since the original trilogy.

Wow, I can't believe the hate this is taking in the other thread. I loved it. Was it a perfect movie? No. But it was far more original than TFA and I can't wait to see where they take this.
It seems that a lot of people are pissed about Rey's parents, but I get the feeling there is more to that.
I also wonder how they'll be able to write Leia out of the next one.

The scene where the admiral hyper spaces directly into the huge ship... Saw it in IMAX 3D, holy shite it was beautiful, I expected the movie to cliffhanger right there to be honest.

Nothing to do with Star Wars mythology
It’s just a terrible terrible film

I thought it was terrific. Just wish Luke hadn't gone but I was ok with how it happened.
Takes me back to 5th grade. Not too much to complain about.

Let’s be honest, half of them just hate it because a black guy had a starring role. There’s really no other explanation.
The movie was awesome and I can’t wait to see it again this weekend. I neeeeed a porg

Loved the Yoda scene so much. And Chewie's porg bbq scene made me lol. Definitely looking forward to seeing this more.

Luke/Kylo fight was orgasmic and the space battles were the best in the series.
Couple nit picks here and there, but overall probably my third favorite behind the original and Empire.

Loved it!
Can't believe all the miserable folks. To say this movie is terrible or "trash" is hilarious. It's like you've never seen an actual bad movie.
So many things I loved--every scene with Rey, the hyperspace ship split, the whole scene with Snoke, Rey, and Kylo. I got chills when Rey lifted the rocks. Yoda!
I had a blast (and that's why I go to the movies). I wish we got a little more background on Snoke but I'm okay with it.

I loved everything but the B plot (Finn and Rose) which seemed completely unnecessary, but even that brought a ton of world building to the table. Seeing how the money class was basically defense contractors who really don’t care who’s in charge as long as they can sell arms to whomever is fighting was pretty damn significant.
On the flip side, loved everything about the A plot, especially the shoulder toss. I even liked Leah using the force to pull herself back to the ship. The scene in the Snoke throne room was fantastic. Every scene with Luke was brillient from training Rey to arguing with Yoda and his final force projection Mexican standoff with Kylo-Ren. It was all excellent.
ETA: Was Mr. Satan one of the aliens on Kanto-Bite?

After seeing it, it was very well done. But I still maintain that Snoke was a complete waste. I did also want to see Luke run wild. This movie essentially had no saber duels. I don't consider the guard scene nor Luke vs Kylo real duels.
