Bold move dragging him back in to the water. That's some awesome jaw strength.

It's 100% one of the ones that I was thinking of. I've seen like 4 of these videos.

It was damn near prancing just like my cats when they catch their toys and carry them off like they won a prize.

Yeah, the most amazing part of the video was seeing that thing swim with the big caiman in its jaws. How the hell did it do that?

I see bigger jaguar walking through southern's quad.

I've never seen this clip, but I did see a cat kill a crocodilian back on Oct 7th.

Ambush predator experiences ambush predation.

That's the exact one I was thinking of... it's still awesome.
That jaguar kills it as soon as it gets that neck bite latched.

Jaguars apparently evolved to kill prey and either drag it to thickets or up in the trees so it doesn't have to frick around with any $2 Johnny Come Latelys who come along after the kill. Of course, its success as a predator (including, anecdotally black bears) has crowded out other larger predators in South America.
While not the biggest or strongest cat on Earth, it is probably the quietest (virtually silent - think house cat quiet and 1 1/2 to 3 bills) and best ambush specialist. Jaguars don't chase prey - they defeat its senses by stealth, make a single move to secure then kill quickly.

This either incredibly awesome or stupid by the jaguar.
How does it know there are no other crocs in that water?
What happens if the croc catches it begore he locks jaw?
Draghing it into the water begore death is ballsy as hell.
Video was awesome.
