It has been quoted in numerous other threads.

There is a firm limit of 25 now.

After reading further, JUCO guys count towards that 25 if it is the first time that kid has signed with that particular school - he counts.

It looks like 25 is the max number. I hope I'm wrong.

T. Marshall and his QB J. Rogers
P. Surtain and K. Joseph and
J. Watkins
H. Joiner
M. Goodrich

7 above, 2 decommitments = net 5

Assuming we only have 5 remaining spots.

I think it falls out like this. (Recruits in bold are the most likely to sign with LSU)

2 WRs (Marshall, Keys, Chase, Watkins, Jason)

1 RB (Joiner, Williams)

2 CB (Surtain, Cook, Goodrich)

1 S (Joseph)

In this scenario we do not take a QB.

I never thought Joiner would end up in this class. No info just a gut feeling. How often to pluck kids from Alabama?

It's tough to narrow it down to 5 and I hope we have more spots but here is how I'd like to finish top 6:

Marshall
Surtain
Joseph
Michael Williams
Beal
Watkins or Pooka

We will have at least 2. Washington is likely. Moore is a real possibility. Only mention them by name because its public knowledge. There are 2-3 other possibilities but not near as likely.

From the state of Alabama or the school? Last year we got three players from the state. Two had offers from Alabama

read this mornings dandy don. he quotes the new rule and it is clear; you can only sign 25 players incl. transfers. it reads something like max of 25 that are signing first schollie for you school.

it's so simple it's hard to nail down. we are all used to so many exceptions and now a simple one comes out and we can't believe it.

You are right we did, but that certainly hasn't been the norm. I also figured Joiner would be a bigger priority for Auburn and Bama before the year started.

Maybe he does end up in this class I just had the feeling from the beginning he wouldn't. I'd rather take Pooka and focus on 2019 at this point. I am excited about Curry, I think hes going to better than people think.

Id be willing to bet the farm Beal or Williams wont make this class unless we strike out on most of our board left.

TE and DL/LB are no a priority w/ the ramainder of the spots
