Definitely, especially now that Trump has overturned the so-called Johnson Amendment, which prohibits political donations and advocacy by religious organizations at the risk of losing their tax-exempt status. Since churches, mosques and synagogues will soon be able to freely back political candidates with monetary donations, they SHOULD lose their tax-exempt status.
